
Jennie Lenman is a broadcaster, journalist and producer with a passion for story-telling. She has been featured in Radio Today’s 2018 article ‘Radio’s Greatest Newsreaders: The Future’, recognised as ‘Australian of the Day’ by CommBank in 2016 and as one of ‘SA’s fastest-rising stars under 30’ by Adelaide Now in 2015.
Jennie has years of experience as a broadcaster in community, commercial and public media as a presenter, producer, television production coordinator, radio panel operator, audio editor, copywriter and volunteer manager. She works at ARN, hosting ‘SA Today’ on 5MU and is the Breakfast journalist for both 5MU and Power FM SA, breaking and covering stories affecting the Murraylands, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula each weekday.
Jennie loves Adelaide’s thriving art and music scene. Since 2017, she has participated as a judge at the annual SCALA FOOM (Songwriters, Composers & Lyricists Association’s Festival of Original Music). She has been a board member at Nexus Arts, has worked with ABC RN for OzAsia & the Festival of Ideas and has volunteered in a marketing role at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
Thanks to a previous life in administration, Jennie is also very organised.
