I am a South Australian broadcaster, journalist and content producer who loves a good story – especially the kind that connects people to their community.
I co-host the 5MU Breakfast show ‘Adam & Jennie’ with Adam Connelly, which was recently shortlisted for Best Breakfast Show (Medium Market) at the 2026 Mumbrella Australian Audio Awards. Cheerful, curious, and cheeky, Adam and I aim to make mornings in the region brighter. After breakfast, you’ll hear me on ‘More Music Mornings’ from 10am to 12pm weekdays.
Alongside my announcing and production work, I’m a journalist and newsreader across 5MU and Power FM SA, covering stories from the Murraylands, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula. That can mean anything from breaking news and emergency updates to council decisions, local issues and the kind of community stories that don’t always make the big headlines – but matter just as much.
I’ve worked across community, commercial and public media in roles ranging from presenter and producer to audio editor, MC, copywriter, manager and recruiter. It’s given me a solid toolkit – and a healthy respect for deadlines.
My background in journalism underpins the editorial side of the 5mu breakfast show – from delivering half-hourly local news bulletins to asking the questions that draw out real, thoughtful conversations with guests, alongside the lighter moments that make great radio.
I also like taking radio out of the studio when I can. Over the years that’s included broadcasting a full show aboard Victor Harbor’s horse-drawn tram, and attempting an interview while climbing Mount Lofty – which, in hindsight, was a little ambitious!
Outside of the newsroom, I’m a big supporter of local music and the arts. Since 2017, I’ve been a judge at South Australia’s annual SCALA Festival of Original Music, championing original artists and emerging talent.
I was shortlisted for the 2023 ACRA Best Local News Team (Provincial) alongside 5MU sports reporter Chris Guscott, named a nominee in the 2024 SA Woman ‘Women to Watch’ Awards, and recognised by my peers as Employee of the Year in 2025.
At the heart of it, I care about telling stories well, asking the right questions, and making radio that feels genuinely local – the kind people trust to keep them informed, connected and entertained.
