Jennie Lenman is a broadcaster, journalist and content producer with a passion for story-telling. Jennie has been nominated for the 2024 SA Woman’s ‘Women to Watch‘ awards and the 2023 ACRAs. She has been featured in Radio Today’s 2018 ‘Radio’s Greatest Newsreaders: The Future’, was recognised as a 2016 ‘Australian of the Day’ by CommBank and was listed among Adelaide Now’s ‘SA’s fastest-rising stars under 30’ in 2015.

Jennie has years of experience as a broadcaster in community, commercial and public media as a presenter, producer, television production coordinator, radio panel operator, audio editor, copywriter and volunteer manager.

She co-hosts ARN’s 5MU weekday Breakfast show ‘Adam and Jennie’ with Adam Connelly, hosts the station’s ‘More Music Morning’ weekdays 10am-12pm and is a journalist and newsreader for both 5MU and Power FM SA, breaking and covering stories affecting the Murraylands, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula.

As well as working from the studio, Jennie loves to broadcast and record from unusual locations. She was the first radio announcer to host an entire radio show on Victor Harbor’s historic horse-drawn tram in 2019. She has also interviewed Katie Sarah, one of the world’s fittest women, while climbing Mount Lofty. That may have been a mistake, retrospectively!

Jennie also loves art and music. Every year for the past seven years, she has been a judge at South Australia’s SCALA FOOM Festival, celebrating original local artists and their music.

Thanks to a previous life in administration, Jennie is also very organised.
